Ellie Mockett Whitney is an instructor, freelance editor, and writer with a Master of Teaching English. She earned the ETS Recognition of Excellence for a perfect score on The Praxis for Literature, Language, and Composition, has won multiple writing awards, edited award-winning books, and recently designed the first-ever writing program for the Rappahannock Area Regional Adult Education program, which has served Northern Virginia for thirty years. She also judges writing competitions and book awards and teaches adult ed writing classes.
